Roaring 20’s Themed Casino Night Benefiting Safe Harbor of Chester County
Now more than ever Safe Harbor needs our help as they informed us that they no longer receive funding from the county for the important work they do! This means that their organization is dependent on events like ours and private donations to provide emergency shelter and services to adults experiencing homelessness. However Safe harbor goes much further than that, they seek to understand each person’s background, create short term plans to address their challenges and needs, monitor their progress, and add guidance. They strive to rebuild lives, teach daily living skills, reestablish self-esteem and offer hope so that individuals can overcome their own obstacles that prevented them from leading independent, productive lives.
